The AppRadio "...is the first in-vehicle product designed to utilize the processing power, storage capacity, network connectivity and apps of the iPhone 4 and 4S as the primary source, allowing users to control compatible apps from the convenience of its multi-touch, capacitive touchscreen display," according to a news release.
Pioneer says the hardware is "designed to grow with iOS and an expanding library of compatible apps."
"We're all about getting apps into cars with more music and less work," according to a released statement by Livio Radio founder and CEO, Jake Sigal.
