Earlier today I posted about Ted Williams, the homeless man from Columbus, Ohio who had a great radio and voice-over voice. He was hoping to get hired at a radio or TV station. As quickly as the video of Williams went viral, the offers came. (Screenshot: CBS News)

According to newsfeed.time.com: "A listener called in to a radio show on WNCI and offered Williams a full-time job doing voiceover work for the Cleveland Cavaliers and their parent company, as well as a free home in Cleveland. An offer which clearly thrilled a stunned Williams."

NYpost.com says the Cavaliers have also offered Williams a free house along with his dream job. Williams was obviously ecstatic and you can view an interview with him from CBS News online.

As Ted begins to live his dream, I hope he is able to realize that God has always had faith in him, even if his mother didn’t. Ted’s mother has a lot to learn from her son. God loves unconditionally. Thanks be to God for his grace and healing power!

I think it is great that he found the Lord and has a second chance for living his life. I was saddened to see how much his mom thought only of how his life reflected on her and the family and less about her son new lease on life. I was embarrassed for her being embarrassed of him. May the Love of the Lord continue to heal his wounds and may he become the father that his children and grandchildren need now. God Bless You Ted and God Forgive your mother.
