One in four Americans 12 or older have listened to audio from an iPod or alternate MP3 player connected to a car stereo.
52% of Americans have listened to online radio. Last month, 70 million Americans listened to Internet radio (27%). Three in ten who are 12 - 24 years old are "very interested" in online radio for car or mobile devices.
The weekly online radio audience is 43 million people (the same as in 2009) or 17% of the total population, 12 years or older.
The study also says: "Nearly half of people age 12 and older give credit to radio for improvements in their Web sites."
