Here's an awful story which just missed the cutoff for this year's "Top 10 Scary Radio Stories of 2009". From Palm Bay, Florida comes this: "Three members of a family who were electrocuted by 13,000 volts while trying to erect a radio antenna in Central Florida were identified on Tuesday," reports clickorlando.com.
It seems a father, mother, and son were attempting to put a HAM radio antenna in the back yard of a relative's property when the 17-year-old son "...lost control of the pole and it struck an overhead power line."
