Longtime Seattle radio personality Bob Rivers has disclosed he thinks he was the victim of an airplane thief. Rivers blames a young serial burglar by the name of Colton Harris-Moore. (Bob Rivers, KZOK-FM, Seattle)
Seattlepi.com quotes Rivers on Thursday morning during his radio show on KZOK-FM saying: "The thief broke into a locked hangar, apparently found some keys in the hangar, stole the plane during our morning show."
The single-engine Cessna was found crashed on November 12, 2008 on Yakama Nation tribal land.
According to the online version of The Seattle Times, "[Rivers] said he hadn't talked about the theft on the air before because he was 'scared and embarrassed.' But he said the story was starting to emerge on blogs, so he decided to discuss it today."
Besides his radio career, Bob Rivers is also very well-known for his "Twisted Christmas" album of novelty songs and "Twisted Tunes".
