Radio Hall of Fame Announces 2009 Inductees

The National Radio Hall of Fame has announced the 2009 inductees who will take their spot during induction later this year on November 7. Conservative radio host, Neal Boortz; syndicated novelty song king, Dr. Demento; Washington, D.C. personality, Ed Walker; New York personality, Wendy Williams; and Norma Pattiz, founder and Chairman of Westwood One syndication. The National Radio Hall of Fame Steering Committee also announce posthumous inductees: Puerto Rican radio personality, Jose Miguel Agrelot; Philadelphia radio icon, Harry Kalas; and Chicago radio host, Studs Terkel.

George Noory, of Coast to Coast AM, will host the broadcast with Radio Hall of Famer Jim Bohannon of Westwood One serving as the announcer.
