As if the statement about ‘getting rid of Armenians and selling Glendale’ as a solution to improving the countries economic situation isn’t bad enough, they went as far as ridiculing our history? Bill Handel, being a Jew, ‘should’ have an understanding of what it means to have your grandparents and great-grandparents murdered, slaughtered, burned alive. Any group of people that have had such a painful history, who have faced decades of persecution, should be able to relate to the Armenian people, and be sympathetic enough to not make such outrageous comments like “What the Turks started, Bill will finish”. Honestly, what kind of comment is that! I guarantee if ANYONE in the media was to say “What Hitler started, XYZ person will finish”, they’d be fired within hours, and wouldn’t stand a chance to make a name for themselves in Hollywood. I recently wrote a complaint letter to the director of KFI, and got back a response (which I’m pretty sure was a generic one) that said “I am truly sorry you were offended. While I understand your concerns, Bill Handel was clearly engaging in parody and hyperbole to point out the absurdity of genocide as a solution to rising health care costs. No one was actually advocating hatred against Armenians. The comments were obviously said in jest, in the same breath with advocating euthanasia for the elderly and genocide for the Jews. The comments made were solely mocking the idea of genocide and weren’t intended to be about Armenians anymore than they were about euthanasia for the elderly”.

It was exactly what Susan S. wrote, however, I wrote back and demanded her to explain why Billy boy has not contributed a segment of his show to discuss the FINAL SOLUTION. I added in my e-mail that being a long time listener of his show, I demand to hear his personal thoughts on the FINAL SOLUTION and how it can improve our economy.
She finally responded to me by asking me to stop sending racial comments directly to her. They will NOT discuss my e-mail on air (wonder why) and they have notified me that my e-mail address was blocked. So, I have multiple e-mail addresses now. Damn it, I want to know if my suggestion about the economical crisis actually is endorced by Mr. Mis-Handled!

O.k. I saw the clip about the girl apologizing, but is it just me or is it that Billy boy has YET to apologize? Where in that clip has he apologized? I know he supports the Armenian cause, but I kept watching it and he just repeated what he had said in his previous audio file. Speaking controversially on the air is one thing but being silly is quite another matter. In my company a racist comment of any caliber will definitely get you introduced to the exit doors, in no time. It never ceases to amaze me when well known personalities, in the heat of the moment, utter a sentence that they wished they hadn’t. It also never ceases to amaze me when they come back and apologize. It appears that it’s been going on ever since the birth of politics. Because I felt the need of urgency during these troubled times I was obliged to self publish with Author House over two months ago. I feel that my book “Escaping Islam” is just as compelling as Infidel and Reading Lolita in Tehran.

As a high ranking naval officer I escaped the 1979 Iranian revolution. After 30 years in seclusion I broke my silence and authored the book Escaping Islam. I have my prediction as what is going to happen within the next sixty days in Iran.
Mr. Rafsanjani is the chairman of the 86 members of Assembly of Experts who have the responsibility to watch, dismiss and select the supreme leader. I predict that Ayatollah Khamenei will not change his mind for either total vote counts or supporting a new election. Ayatollah Rafsanjani will call an emergency meeting of Assembly of Experts and with majority vote Ayatollah Khamenei will be removed and Ayatollah Rafsanjani will become the new Supreme Leader. He will announce a new election and Mr. Mousavi with the help of Ayatollah Khatami will become the new president.

I am glad you’ve made the comment on this page, in fact I may look into your
book, ‘Escaping Islam’, but I fail to see it’s relevance to these blogs, which
are mainly concerned with the tasteless comments that Mr. Handel had made
regarding the Armenians in Glendale. Am I correct to assume that you’d like your
book be promoted by the KFI station?
I just happened to read about Bill H’s Armenian comment when I was looking at the KFI program schedule.
Whenever I hear Bill Handel on air I turn the station. He is boring and clownish and he makes me want to throw-up. You’re right about his “token” Jew comments, to look like he picks on everyone.
I’m an American, but not an Armenian, who will never listen to Bill Handel again after his big boo-boo of disrespecting former Alaskan Governor Palin over her recent objection to the death panel section of proposed health care legislation which the US Senate just happened to remove from its draft bill today. IMHO, Handel has now showed his true colors as a propogandist for the socialist movement, May Handel’s listener ratings for all his programs plummet to zero if he keeps up such slanted and unpatriotic blather.
Certainly more whiners than not. This is America. If you do not like Bill Handel, don’t listen. Either don’t tune in or tune out. It’s very simple. Why is it of any ones concern as to how he chooses to make a living? Who gives a F*$!? Get a life. He certainly has a successful one. Don’t hate. By the way, we do not live in a world of Leave it to Beaver or Little House on Prairie anymore.
The only reason he stays on the air is cause he can use the “Jew card”. Without his morning show crew he’s nothing. And they work harder than he does
Bill, Get a fact check. The beginning of the recession which started things, was Bill Clinton, who came on Natinal TV and said so, he took all bars off housing, anyone could buy a home. I took care of a Brokers wife when they gave birth, he said loan company’s will do anything to secure a loan, even if the loan takes 60-70yrs. He also said 67% of his clients were hispanic. From there, the loan companies and realators and such, ran with it. Bush had no where to go, maybe he didn’t do enough, but he did not start this, nor did idiot Obama who is taking it to different heights. But, enjoy thinking what you want if you haven’t got all the facts. Now look at who’s losing their homes!

Bill Handel is very racist. To give you an example, last year i was interviewed by him and his associate for a job. I am east-indian. The first time he meets me he says “Sanjay, you are indian right?”. I replied, “Yes.”. Then he says, “So what is your favorite flavored slurpee?”. My jaw dropped. I can’t believe Clear Channel, KFI, and others support and condone racism.
You want handel to hang for some anger problem you are all holding onto inside? The Slurpee joke was funny! Get rid of the Simsons?? For crying out loud! (Never)… In this world, we need to laugh at our self and the stupid things mankind has doen in the past, in order to not repeat them. To laugh at eachother and NOT GET OFENDED is tottaly American..in fact…that’s how you know you have become American. So stop gossiping on and on, it’s a sin to gossip! And stop throwing stones! Bill Handel is ugly with or without a beard. What he needs is a new heart…or a head transplant. What cold s.o.b. I feel sorry for his wife. We don’t need another hate spouting d.j. We already have the other fat guy, Rush!. Granted, Bill Handel is more intelligent and interesting, but just as much a bigot!!
I am a 62 year old male who lives most of his life along the ocean in Baja (Mexico). I listen in my car radio to KFI a lot of the time. Bill’s a great host who is able to create controversery and capture his listeners. For those who don’t listen to Bill – they don’t understand this is his ’stick’.
For those complaining – get with it. Be happy the U.S. has welcomed you here as a citizen and you are able to live in a wonderful place.
By listening to Bill – you will know he has a heart of gold; is very kind and generous to others. If people don’t like what he has to say – ‘turn the channel’. To the owners of KFI – if you take Bill and others such as John & Ken off your channel, you can be sure I will no longer listen to your station.
Owners & Managers – you have done a great job in selecting ‘good hosts” who allow the listener to ‘think outside the box’.
Thank you for bringing Bill H. to my favorite radio station even reaching 20,000 to 40,000 U.S. retired Americans who are living a ’safe’ life along the Pacific Coastline in Baja (Mexico).
