Similar to TweetMic, AudioBoo let's iPhone users record sound - voice, music, or anything else - and share it with others at Audioboo.fm. You don't have to own an iPhone or the Audioboo application to listen on the web to what others have created. (Screenshot of Audioboo: created by roland, creative commons)

On my visit to audioboo.fm, I listened to a short message from British presenter (radio personality) Tony Blackburn, a mystery voice recorded inside Albert Hall by Stephen Fry, and a musical selection called "Jump for Joy" by terrifiedstudios

Think of Audioboo as a twitter for audio. The application is available at the a iPhone App Store.
