The woman who brought Lois lane to life on Radio, actress Joan A. Stanton, has died. She was 94. Stanton's family confirms she passed away last Thursday (5/20) due to an intestinal blockage, according to upi.com.
"Superman" debuted on Radio in 1940 and according to UPI.com: "Stanton, then known as Jane Alexander, joined the series for its seventh episode and went on to provide the voice of Superman's love interest, Lois Lane, for hundreds of "Superman" episodes."
