MyQuu Bridges Gap Between Radio, Phone, and Web

By , About.com Guide   May 25, 2009

Follow me on:

MyQuu is offering two apps to make interacting with your radio and the web a more congruent process. QuuMobile is a new technology that "transforms your cell phone into a conduit between the radio and the Web," according to the company's website. QuuText "allows you to “Quu” Songs or Ads directly from your cell phone. No software download required so anyone can use," says myquu.com.

Once the app is installed on your phone, whenever you hear a song, radio ad, or anything else you're interested in, tell QuuMobile to select the item. Quu it.

Depending on what it is, QuuMobile will either:

1) Send it to your Quu page for later
2) The system will call you back with more details about a product or service
3. You can request a call-back from an advertiser to make certain purchases (tickets)
4. Request a video of an ad you might have heard.

MyQuu's mission is to add more "interaction and create a personalized and free radio content service that allows listeners to immediately select, and interact with fun and meaningful radio content online".
