Burke, from the "Shannon Burke Show" on WTKS, was having an argument with his wife about the dog and how to care for it when he threatened to shoot it with his gun.
He pulled the trigger and a .40 caliber bullet went through the dog's leg and then hit is wife, Catherine, in the head. She went to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury; the dog wound up at an emergency clinic; Burke was taken to jail on a charge of aggravated battery using a deadly weapon.

I listen to this show when I’m driving around in the afternoon. That’s his direct email address, which I guess he won’t be checking for a while. If you want to make a statement, write to the program director of the station.

I am from Florida and I agree there are a lot of crazy people here since you don’t need to be documented or anything to immigrate. Just float in on a tire and start stealing until they kick you out. This guy gives gun and pet ownership a bad name.
