iPhone Radio App Racking up Downloads

Clear Channel Radio says its iheartradio application for the iPhone has been downloaded one million times in the past 5 months. The company also says use of the application (in time-spent-listening) has been growing by 13% per week since launch.

iheartradio features hundreds of Clear Channel radio stations from around the country in various genres.

The company has also announced that a beta is available for the RIM BlackBerry.

I really like this app alot and added it on my bb curve. It definetly is a neat little music app and downloaded quickly. great to try even if you dont necessarily like radio its goodto give it a go for a free app. good job guys covering this

Great stuff. Makes radio more portable than it ever was…in fact, this blows my mind.
Being able to listen to radio from all over the country in real time just connects everyone so much better.
The only issue is the buffering, but then again that is expected and also happens online. Pulling this much info on a little BB is incredible.
