I’m the only one in this world. Can please someone join me in this life? Or maybe death…
I asked my boss for the afternoon off, since I had a sick cat and had to bring him to the vet to be put to sleep. I was obviously very upset about this and talked about it all morning. As I was packing up to leave for the day, I told my boss I was leaving. She replied “Oh, okay, have fun”, showing that she had completely ignored everything I had told her earlier because I wasn’t important enough to pay attention to. I replied “Okay, I will try to have fun putting my cat to sleep.”
She apologized profusely. It was fun to see her squirm.
