AOL Unveils SHOUTcast Radio for iPhones, iPods

One of the new apps AOL announced at the recent Macworld Conference and Expo in San Francisco for iPhone and iPod is a SHOUTcast Radio application. It give users access to the online radio stations in the SHOUTcast Radio directory.

According to a press release: "[users]...can search the extensive SHOUTcast Radio directory and save their favorite SHOUTcast stations. With an accelerometer control, users can shake their iPhone or iPod touch to change stations. SHOUTcast Radio for iPhone also displays radio stations by popularity and by stream quality, giving users the flexibility to select radio stations that are appropriate for their current network connection."
