Despite some rumors and rumblings that there was a rift between Bubba the Love Sponge and SIRIUS XM Radio, a new contract has been agreed upon. Bubba the Love Sponge airs Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. (ET) and Fridays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The SIRIUS XM Radio press release quotes the Love Sponge as saying, "I will continue the radio revolution with Howard Stern on SIRIUS XM."
Howard Stern was instrumental in bringing Bubba the Love Sponge to SIRIUS Satellite Radio (pre-merger) back in 2005. Both launched their current shows in January, 2006. Stern programs "Howard 100" and "Howard 101" for SIRIUS XM Radio.
