Streema: Radio Streams and Social Networking

Friday November 28, 2008
If you're continually looking for a "better mousetrap" when it comes to finding online Internet radio stations, don't overlook Streema. Even though it's still in "Alpha", the team there are honing a slick interface that is very easy to use and efficient. (Screenshot by Corey Deitz. Graphic © Streema.)

Streema manipulates your browser into a player and social radio network, should you choose to register. Richard Monté says: "On our site, users can listen to the web streams of their favorite radio stations (AM, FM or pure web radios) as well as discover new stations through their friends or through the general Streema community. Honestly, there are tons of great radio stations out there, just not a great way to find them!"

The Streema radio directory boasts thousands of radio stations and lists them by popularity as decided by the Streema community. Searching for what you want is quick and easy.

Browse over to www.streema.com and see what you find. (You will need to have Windows Media Player or an equivalent/compatible player installed on your computer.)
