Only Internet Radio Could Give You: Revenge of the Blue Christmas

Thursday November 20, 2008
It's going to be a Blue Christmas - and not necessarily because of the economy. Veteran music and talk radio personality, George Woods, programs and cares for a bunch of Internet radio stations including his latest project: "Revenge of the Blue Christmas".

This particular stream features one thing: versions of "Blue Christmas". Woods says: "It’s all there- from Elvis to Etheridge, Judy Garland to Jon Bon Jovi, Lawrence Welk to Lola and the Red Hots: enough Blue Christmases to satisfy even the most hardcore Christmas music masochist."

It's an idea which first sparked in George's head about 20 years ago when he was working as the morning man for WOW-AM in Omaha, Nebraska. You can read the whole story and listen at www.radiogeorge.com.
