You Can Create Your Own Internet Radio Station - Yeah, You!

Monday November 10, 2008
I got an email the other day from Larry Hudson, a long-time radio personality in the Detroit market at stations like WCHB, WDRQ, WJLB, WGPR, WJZZ & WMXD. (Right: Larry Hudson. Photo Credit: © OldiesAndMore.com)

Larry got "downsized" from his radio gig 7 years ago - but he's back in the game. He's now running an Internet station called OldiesAndMore.com and he couldn't be happier. What's personally gratifying is the fact that Larry's inspiration came from my free email course at About. U. called "How to Create Your Own Internet Radio Station".

Larry writes, "Two years and many emails since the first email that said get off your butt! You can do it!...Thank you for the inspiration over the years! I'm now into day 4 of broadcasting!"

Check out Larry's station featuring 5 decades of Classic R&B including artists like: Aretha Franklin, Luther Vandross, The Temptations, Earth, Wind and Fire, Chicago, Barry White, Grover Washington, Jr., Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonder, Bee Gees, Isaac Hayes, and more.

There are lots of new websites that allow you to broadcast different kinds of content. It’s definitely becoming easier to find niche content tailored to your interests. If you ever do a story on sports radio broadcasting, please let me know. YouCastr might be of interest to your readers, since it is free and allows people to create their own live sports station.
