Rochester Awaits Radio Return of Brother Wease

By November 7, 2008

Follow me on:

A Rochester, New York radio institution, Brother Wease, returns to that city's airwaves beginning Monday, November 17. Wease has been sitting on the sidelines while waiting for contractual obligations to expire with his previous employer, WCMF-FM. (Above: Brother Wease/Fox Bumper Sticker. Screenshot by Corey Deitz. The motorcycle-riding, poker-playing personality will be on 95.1 The Fox from 6 to 11 a.m. weekday mornings with "The Wease Show".

Over the years, Brother Wease has fended off various demons including a $17 million dollar lawsuit by a former co-host and a form of sinus cancer.

Yet, as with all high-profile radio personalities, he has contributed much to the community including his work with the charity he founded, Wease Cares, devoted to children with special needs.
