Thursday September 18, 2008
Slacker has introduced the “Slacker G2 Personal Radio Player” which is being billed as “...the next generation of the world's only completely portable Personal Radio player.” (Right: Slacker G2 Personal Radio Player, Photo Credit: © Slacker.com)

So what is this thing?

The G2 enables listeners to personalize over 100 programmed stations and create, edit and share their own personal Radio stations...and it’s portable.

The G2 automatically downloads and refreshes songs over a Wi-Fi connection or through USB. But, the player doesn’t have to be connected to Wi-Fi to play.

Personalized music is automatically delivered to the Slacker G2. There is no subscription required for Slacker G2 owners to access the Slacker online music library.

The Slacker G2 Personal Radio Player is available now for $199.99 (25 Stations, 4GB) and $249.99 (40 stations, 8GB).
