Radio Broadcasters Meet for Annual Convention

The NAB Radio Show is happening this week at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas. It begins Wednesday (9/17) and runs through Friday (9/19).

So what do Radio broadcasters do when they converge? A lot of seminars like "The Rise of the Media Station and the Future of Talk Radio" and "Radio Through the Power of the Brain".

Other events include "Breakfast with Commissioner Adelstein" (as in the Federal Communications Commission) and "Content is King: How to Develop Your Talent".

Probably the real highlight of the 3-day affair is the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner and Show on Thursday night preceded by the "Happy Hour and Half" (true).
