Who Let the "Dog" In? SIRIUS XM Satellite Radio Did

Tuesday August 19, 2008
SIRIUS XM Radio grabbed the spotlight today by announcing that Chris "Mad Dog" Russo had joined the newly-merged Satellite Radio service for the next 5 years.

At a press conference in New York, SIRIUS XM disclosed that Russo would be the main attraction on a new sports-talk channel. SIRIUS channel 123 and XM channel 144 will relaunch as "Mad Dog Radio" which will present sports talk, interviews, news and live remote broadcasts from sporting events.

"I get to create a whole channel of my kind of sports talk," said Russo. His program will air live from SIRIUS’ New York studios weekday afternoons from 2:00 to 7:00pm ET beginning Monday, September 15.
