My day job is actually doing a morning radio show and it's been a while since I wrote an article with a really "inside" perspective. So, I decided to talk about callers. Callers to radio shows and radio stations fall into a very small minority. Even so, they can be a very bizarre and strange group. Corey……..How about the myriad of callers who call to ask if you know “you’re not on the air”. Happened to me this morning…power failure at transmitter….I get 10 frickin’ calls saying….”Hey, you know your off the air?”
Well no S&^% Sherlock…but of course after 41 years of radio your reply must be….Yes, but thanks for calling and have a nice day. (Hang up and bellow….you are an idiot !!!!!!!!!
