SIRIUS Satellite Radio Launches "Doctor Radio"

SIRIUS Satellite Radio is teaming up with the New York University Langone Medical Center to create "Doctor Radio", a full-time channel hosted by physicians, expert clinicians, and medical researchers.

"Doctor Radio" will originate from a studio at Langone Medical Center. The channel will provide call-in shows, information, news, and other health and medical programming. Shows will include "Tales from the E.R.", a child psychiatry program called "About Our Kids", as well as others covering plastic surgery, dermatology, men's health, women's health, sexual health, caridology, and more.

"Doctor Radio" launched Monday (June 2) on SIRIUS channel 114.
