Ron Kuby Chosen for Air America Radio's "American Afternoon"

Tuesday June 3, 2008
Air America Radio confirmed today that former WABC/New York morning drive host, Ron Kuby, is the permanent host for the network's "American Afternoon" program heard from 3 - 6 p.m. ET.

Kuby co-hosted mornings on WABC/New York with Curtis Sliwa but were displaced when Citadel Broadcasting brought Don Imus to the station's morning slot following a short-lived exile over comments made about the Rutgers women's basketball team.

Air America Radio is a national progressive talk radio network heard through 60 affiliates, on XM Satellite Radio, and streamed through the Internet.

Kuby starts with the network on Monday, June 9.
