Before his death, Chris Farley lived in Chicago's John Hancock Center, where Mancow's studio was also located. According to the book, "Chris frequently popped in at the show (Mancow’s Morning Madhouse) on his way in or out of the building…the show gave Chris a stage whenever he needed one."
Mancow contributed this story to the book about Farley leaving rehab: "That May, Chris Rock was performing in Chicago. Farley called me and said, 'I’ve broken out of prison. I'm out. I want to go see my boy Chris Rock!' Chris broke out of rehab to go to this show. I met him at his apartment, and I was begging him not to drink. I was sitting there, going, No, No, Chris. Please."
"Mancow's Morning Madhouse" is syndicated nationally by Talk Radio Network.
