Radio Stunt Imitates Real Life: 42 Hours in an Elevator

Thursday April 24, 2008
Over the past week or so, a viral video has been making the rounds through the Internet of a young New York City man who had the unfortunate luck to get stuck in an elevator for 41 hours while it was all captured on a surveillance camera.

Leave it to Radio to capitalize on such an event. "Courtney & Kiss in the Morning" at Kiss 95.7/Hartford, Connecticut are following show character, Walmart Jeff, as he attempts to recreate the madness and live in an elevator for 42 hours straight.

According to the Kiss 95.7 website:

"He is allowed a bathroom break every 4 hours and is only allowed to use his cell phone to call into the show to talk to Courtney & Jordan. No food, No water, No beer!...stay tuned to see if he can last until Friday morning!"

Pictures and video updates are available online at Kiss 95.7's website.
