Bubba the Love Sponge Returns to Terrestrial Radio

Tuesday December 18, 2007
Beginning January 8, 2008, Bubba the Love Sponge will begin a new morning show on terrestrial radio stations WHPT/Tampa, Florida and on WFYV/Jacksonville. Both stations are owned by Cox Radio. Bubba the Love Sponge has not been heard on terrestrial radio in those markets for four years.

In a press release, the often controversial talk show host was quoted as saying, "I want to thank Cox Radio for giving me the chance to bring a morning show back to Tampa and Jacksonville. And yes, we already know the big question…we’re going to do a 'clean' show during weekday mornings on Cox Radio."

Bubba the Love Sponge recently re-signed with SIRIUS Satellite Radio and will continue to do his afternoon show on Howard 101, one of two stations Howard Stern programs for SIRIUS. That show airs from 3 - 7 p.m. ET.
