Dave Rabbit: Vietnam War Pirate DJ Now Turned Podcaster

Thursday November 29, 2007
One of the great Radio stories I have been personally involved is the story of Dave Rabbit. Many people are familiar with Adrian Cronauer, the U.S. Armed Forces Radio DJ who inspired the movie, "Good Morning Vietnam". But, while Cronauer broadcasted legitimately, a Pirate DJ named Dave Rabbit from the U.S. Air Force did not. For years, there was only speculation as to Rabbit's real identity until Dave finally decided to come forward and contact several media writers, including myself, with proof of his claim. Since February, 2006, Rabbit has garnered quite a lot of attention and media coverage. He now produces a podcast, ATS MIX, which also features Johnny Anonymous. Two new shows are posted weekly. Rabbit's latest features an interview with Shirley MacLaine and they talk about "...UFO’s over Washington DC, President Jimmy Carter, Souls Of Animals, Spirituality, The Sumerian Tables, Synchronicity and her two weeks with Alien Abductee Billy Meier." How could that not be interesting?

Check out the MacLaine ATS MIX or the ATS MIX homepage.
