Clear Channel Radio Will Go Private and Sell 448 Radio Stations

From radioandrecords.com: "Clear Channel's Board of Directors on Thursday (Nov. 16) accepted a $26.7 billion offer from private equity investors Bain Capital Partners, LLC and Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. that will take the massive multimedia company private at $37.60 per share...Clear Channel said it intends to sell '448 radio stations in selected small markets as well as its television broadcasting division.' However, the merger is not pending on the sale of any of the transactions." Full Story
