Pirate DJ Dave Rabbit's Disclosure Has Garnered Significant Attention

Many people are familiar with Adrian Cronauer, the U.S. Armed Forces Radio DJ who inspired the movie, Good Morning Vietnam. But, while Cronauer broadcasted legitimately, a Pirate DJ named Dave Rabbit from the U.S. Air Force did not. Up until recently, though, not much was known about Rabbit or what happened to him until he stepped forward with his story. Pirate Radio Broadcasts Interfering With Miami Pilots
Sun-Sentinel.com reports: "Pilots coming and going from Miami International Airport are getting an earful of something unexpected: Hip-hop tunes from a pirate radio station. The music comes on a pair of frequencies from a station that calls itself Da Streetz. Authorities traced the signals to a large radio antenna on tower mounted on a nearby warehouse in a Miami suburb, but did not find a radio transmitter or disc jockey." Full Story
