After the Radio world was turned upside down following an indecency crackdown spurred on by the infamous Janet Jackson Superbowl stunt, the edgy and successful Bubba The Love Sponge almost immediately was fingered for a fall. It didn't matter how much money his syndicated radio show brought in for his employer, Clear Channel. Something had to give - the F.C.C. had to be appeased. BBC Radio 1 Fakes "Dirty Hot Babes"
ManchesterOnline.co.uk reports: "BBC Radio 1 has been criticised after broadcasting fake adverts [advertisements] for sex chatlines...The promotional ads for 'dirty hot babes' offered listeners the chance to take part in a 'two-hour live sex marathon'...In reality, they were trailers for Radio 1's advice programme Sunday Surgery." How to Shut a DJ Up: Make Him Drink This
ChannelNewsAsia.com reports: " Three radio DJs have dropped out of the 70-Hour Radio Gag challenge so far...[which]...involves a special cocktail of lime juice, bittergourd and garlic.
