According to Billboard Radio Monitor: "WKLQ Grand Rapids, Mich., morning team 'Justice And Jim' are in hot water with local police and animal lovers after they announced on their show that they were going to drown a dog on the air the next day. It was a stunt, of course, but local 911 dispatch centers and animal control facilities were flooded with calls....A police spokesman told the Grand Rapids Press that the hosts broke no laws, but acted irresponsibly."
