F.C.C. Rips Up All Complaints Against Clear Channel for $1.75 Million

Clear Channel Communications and the F.C.C. have reached an agreement in which Clear Channel will pay $1.75 million dollars in fines to settle all the current indecency and other listener complaints on file against the radio chain. Details.

Clear Channel Radio: $1.7 Million is Voluntary Contribution to U.S. Treasury
Clear Channel doesn't position the $1.7 million as a fine. Instead, it says it will make a voluntary contribution of $1,750,000 to the U.S. Treasury and the FCC which will vacate existing fines and terminate current investigations and complaints against Clear Channel. Details

F.C.C. Says Clear Channel Admits Some Material Was Indecent
