"Stuttering John" From Howard Stern Show Moves To Tonight Show

Stuttering John (Melendez), an on-air character on the Howard Stern show for the past 15 years, will replace Ed Hall on the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno". Hall is moving on to an acting career. Melendez begins his new duties on March 29th. In a story at Eonline.com, he was quoted as saying, - - - "I thank Howard Stern, the most talented radio personality, for giving me my start, for without him, The Tonight Show would never even know me.
