Spanish Language Shock Jocks Next On Firing Line?

Sunday February 15, 2004
Over the last few days, several stories have appeared concerning the rising popularity of Spanish language Shock Jocks who broacast on popular radio stations in areas of the country where there are large Hispanic and/or Latino populations. From The Miami Herald:

"Last week, for example, the most popular Spanish-language radio show among young people in South Florida, El Vacilón de la Mañana on El Zol 95.7, broadcast the voices of a masturbating priest and a pot-smoking welfare recipient. In another of their pranks, they called Haitian President Jean Bertrand Aristide's office and, when they couldn't get through, called his secretary gay." Full Story.
