Ya know I grew up as a child listening to the GREAT ONE AND ONLY Kasey Casem. He is undoubtly the GREATEST DJ for American Top 40. Too bad the executives couldn’t see it different. It’s always upper management who want to make changes…when they can’t leave “well enough alone.” Since Ryan Seacrest has been on “don’t care to listen to him”. I didn’t listen to Shadoe Stevens either. Hey at least someone else signed him on and “CARED ABOUT” what that man does.
Yeah, I would just like to say that I don’t see Ryan Seacrest running into the same problems that Shadoe Stevens ran into when he replaced Casey. Don’t get me wrong. Shadoe is an amazing talent in his own right, but just wasn’t right for that show. Anyone who tries to replace Casey is like Jim Carrey’s character in “Bruce Almighty”, basically being given God’s powers. ABC Radio screwed up a good thing when they let Casey go. That and plus the fact that the people programming the show after Casey left were experienced showed week after week.
